Ripley’s Haunted Adventure
If you’re keen on a little scare, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is for you! Guests will find themselves transported back to 1908, where murder mystery comes alive through the twists and turns of a haunted manor. Can you find the clues needed to catch the killer or will you become the next victim? The undead are eager to meet you! Take a tour through our haunted mansion filled with suspense and surprises that’ll have you jumping out of your shoes in fright!Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Must be 6-years-old and older to attend. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Conway Ghost Walk
One of the most anticipated events of the season is the Conway Ghost Walk held October 18—21. This year the Conway Ghost Walk travels beneath the stately oaks of the Historic Conwayborough Residential District and along the way professional storytellers share spooky, and sometimes silly, tales during this guided tour. Stories begin each evening at 6:00 p.m. and the tour makes six stops along the one-mile route.Halloween Bash on the Avenue
One of the biggest events in the area, Halloween Bash on the Avenue is fun for the whole family. Head over to the Avenue located at Broadway at the Beach on October 28 at 7:00 p.m. for an evening of fun for the whole family. Enjoy a live DJ, costume contest, and many more surprises. Then, come on back on Halloween, October 31, for Trick-or-Treating at the center’s shops, restaurants, and attractions.BooFest at Barefoot Landing
Get ready for some spooky fun October 28 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. during BooFest at Barefoot Landing. This annual event offers fun for all ages with a DJ dance party and costume contest for kids and pets. End the day with a free showing of Hocus Pocus at 7:00 p.m. on the Amphitheater Lawn. And don’t forget to come back October 31 for trick-or-treating through Barefoot Landing from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Howl-O-Scream at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
On October 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex transforms into a Halloween-themed destination for all ages. Guests will enjoy spooktacular activities and attractions, including hayrides, marshmallow roasting, trick-or-treating and a whole lot more seasonal entertainment. Visitors won’t want to miss The Murrells Inlet annual MarshWalk Halloween celebration October 31. Come in your best costume and take part in the Halloween costume contest, which awards over $4,000 in cash and prizes for the top costumes in a variety of categories. There’ll also be trick-or-treating for the kids. Make sure to stop at the judges' station at each of the seven restaurants along the MarshWalk to be entered for the grand prizes.Thompson Farms Flashlight Fridays
Visit Thompson Farms in October for Flashlight Fridays. Every Friday during the month features movie night, smores around the fire pit, a play area, and a 6.5-acre corn maze. Don’t forget your flashlight!On October 28, Thompson Farms will host the Halloween Helicopter Treat Drop at 4:00 p.m. Kids will have a spooktacular time collecting candy as it drops from a helicopter overhead.
